Wayne Rampey is Vice President and Owner of The InSource Group, Inc. Wayne is responsible for business development at The InSource Group including executive level relationships, client satisfaction, training and client seminars.
Wayne joined The InSource Group in 2001 through a merger with his company, Acclaim Services, Inc. Wayne founded Acclaim Services in 1993 to provide information technology and technical consulting and staffing services.
He has over 30 years of high-tech industry experience including engineering and software development, sales and regional sales management, and company operations. Wayne brings a unique perspective to the ownership and management of The InSource Group through his past professional experiences in technology development and as a client requiring contracting and consulting services.
Wayne is also an investor and on the board of directors for a privately held speech recognition / telecommunications company based in Richardson.
Wayne began his career as an engineer with E-Systems, later acquired by Raytheon. He then moved into sales and sales management with Hewlett Packard and Cadre Technologies. He entered the IT resource service provider side of the industry as a manager of a very profitable staffing office for one of the largest national staffing firms from 1983 to 1989.
Wayne is active in the technology community through participation in professional organizations, including the Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC). Wayne is a member of the Board of Directors for the MTBC and the Executive Steering Committee. Wayne also serves as the tri-chair of the Management In High-Tech Luncheon series. Wayne also serves on the Advisory Board for the E-Business degree curriculum for Texas Christian University (TCU). Wayne is married and has two children, and he is currently very active with his youngest son in the Boy Scouts.
Wayne holds a BS in Engineering from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from Texas A&M.
