This year, the MTBC partnered with At Auction to provide a  private, online auction site custom built for our members and friends.  The site was live before, during and after the event.  You could browse the merchandise, pre-register and begin bidding before the event took place.  Since the auction is online, bidders could compete via their personal PDAs and laptop kiosks provided at the Gala itself.  Auction items closed throughout the night, allowing a fun, interactive experience for all attending.
 

In 2008 the MTBC Tech Titan Awards Gala raised over $15,000 by auctioning off donations from our generous supporters. These funds, along with funds raised from the Awards Gala and MTBC Golf Tournament, enabled MTBC to donate $26,000 to local universities and high schools to be used to promote education in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines.

Using funds received from MTBC, the University of Texas at Dallas was able to generate matching funds and more than double the amount received. By creating endowed scholarships with the donations, UTD will have ongoing scholarship funds for students for years to come.   You CAN make a difference.
