Nominations Open for SEVENTH Annual Tech TitanS Awards, 2007 AWARDS Gala DETAILS Announced
DALLAS – June 15, 2007 – The Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC), the largest technology trade association in Texas, today announced the opening of nominations for its seventh annual Tech Titans Awards. Nomination forms are available now at www.metroplextbc.org/techtitans and must be submitted by Thursday, July 12, 2007.
Finalists will be announced in August 2007, and the winners will be recognized during the Tech Titans and Titan Fast 50 Awards gala dinner at the InterContinental Dallas Hotel on Saturday, September 29, 2007. Information on tickets for the event and sponsorship opportunities is also available through the website.
The MTBC also announced the creation of a new Tech Titans honor – The Innovator Award – as a pilot program for 2007. This accolade recognizes the pioneering efforts of a person, team or organization that has created breakthrough ideas, processes or products in the disciplines of arts, education, electronics, energy, environment, medicine and science. The nominee pool includes scientists, inventors and patent-holders, as well as private and public companies, universities and non-profit or research organizations.
The MTBC also hosts more than 60 programs annually, including 1st Friday Management in High-Tech Luncheons, 3rd Friday Technical Luncheons, RFID Special Interest Group events, Senior Financial Executives events, Tech Week in Austin and the annual Tech Titans/Titan Fast 50 Awards.
