Recognizes CEO leadership within the technology and communications industry.
Corporate Horizon Award
Recognizes outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments through recent or potential breakthrough technology or approach within the technology and communications industry.
Companies with less than 100 employees
Emerging Company Horizon Award
Recognizes outstanding innovation and unique accomplishments through potential breakthrough technology, processes or services within the technology and communications industry.
Special Awards
Titan Fast 50
Recognizes the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, based on percentage revenue growth over five years as well as percentage revenue growth over one year.

Technology Adopter Award
Recognizes a company whose core business is not technology products/services for outstanding adoption and application of innovative technologies to successfully change and impact its business results.
Technology Advocate Award
Recognizes a technology service provider for outstanding leadership in the community by assisting, enabling or accelerating the performance of its technology clients. Providers eligible for this award are law, accounting, capital venture and recruitment firms; educational institutions; and, related services companies that support technology and engineering companies or organizations.
Recognizes the pioneering accomplishments of a person, team or group responsible for the creation of breakthrough ideas, processes or products which have advanced the discipline(s) of the arts, education, electronics, energy, engineering, environment, medicine, and/or science.
Tech Titans Of The Future:
Recognizes educational programs designed to address the gap in the student pipeline in technology disciplines and/or educational programs between technology businesses and educational institutions whose purpose is to provide qualified graduates to the technology industry.
Community Hero Award
Recognizes an individual within the technology industry for outstanding achievements in community involvement.
AeA Texas Legends Award
The AeA Texas Legend Award is given to an individual, company or organization in Texas whose vision and leadership has had a significant influence on "advancing the business of technology". The recipient must have a history with AeA and have made a significant contribution to the industry. Nominations for this award can only be submitted by AeA member companies.
In 2007, the AeA Texas Council joined forces with the Metroplex Technology Business Council to present this award for the first time at the Tech Titans Awards Gala. The first Texas Legend award was presented to Gene Franz of Texas Instruments who invented DSP technology and the Speak 'n Spell, a precursor to all hand held electronics.
