Board Outlines Missions, Goals Of Task Forces

Groups Seek To Guide Organization To Its "Higher Calling"

Three board task forces on talent, innovation and branding have begun a six-month study of the Metroplex Technology Business Council as part of the Board of Directors’ “higher calling” initiative outlined at a January planning retreat. The study is expected to improve the MTBC’s impact on the region while making the organization more effective in meeting the needs of its members. The results of the study will be released at the 6th Annual Tech Titans Gala on Aug. 25.

Semiconductor Event Set For March 30

Luncheon, Panel Discussion To Follow Showcase Of Local Companies

The newly formed MTBC Semiconductor Technology Focus Group and the international association of semiconductor supplier companies, Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI), will host a networking showcase display and luncheon program Thursday, March 30 at The Richardson Hotel, 701 E. Campbell Road in Richardson.

Kicking off the program at 10 a.m. is a Networking Showcase event where semiconductor service and supplier companies will have table displays that highlight their services and products.

University Of Texas At Dallas: A Tech 20 Member Profile

The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) has enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with the Metroplex Technology Business Council since 1995.  During that time, they have worked together to educate and enlighten the business community via networking, forums and other events.  UTD, like the MTBC, is dedicated to making Richardson and the North Texas region a global center of high-tech excellence.
