MTBC Call for Volunteers
The Metroplex Business Technology Council has been gaining much attention as the largest pure tech association in the Southwestern United States. With events including the MTBC Tech Links Scholarship golf tournament, Tech Titans, and the Entreprenueral Development Series, the MTBC is asking for your support and dedication to help commit yourself to providing volunteer services for events such as these. Volunteering for the MTBC can help provide you opportunities to become more involved in the tech community and feel great about contributing to a team that helps promote the technical education and talent in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. You will be a part of "Connecting People. Inspiring Ideas."
We appreciate our volunteers and hope that you can come join our amazing network of helpful technical professionals. The MTBC continues to be successful through volunteers that are dedicated to achieving our goals, which include establishing a global center of excellence, fostering the development of human resouces, leveraging collaborative actions, providing technology leadership development, and support the development of local world-class public and higher education systems. There are four specific areas have been established to accomplish this vision:
- Talent and Workforce Development;
- Innovation, Commercialization, and Entreprenuership;
- Advocacy and Branding, and
- Programs and Networking
The MTBC is asking for your help in one of these groups. If golf is your fancy, you may want to help with the MTBC golf tournament on May 7th. The Tech Titans awards gala is approaching as well. You can support Tech Titans by:
- become involved with one of the Tech Titans sub-committees including: sponsorship, marketing, silent auction/logistics, nominating process, Titan Fast 50, and Tech Titans of the future;
- nominating outstanding technology companies and individuals;
- becoming a sponsor.
Please contact
Paul Bendel for more information about becoming more involved in the MTBC as a volunteer.
