Board Member Spotlight: Charles Ansley

Charles Ansley is the President and CEO of Symon. He has responsibility for all operations of the company globally. Charles is no stranger to Symon having served on the Board of Directors and as a member of the Compensation Committee since 1997. Throughout his career, he has served in almost every facet of the broad information services marketplace.

Previously, Ansley was president of EDS's Information Solutions U.S., where he was responsible for client relationships, service delivery, client satisfaction, and sales. In addition, he served as president of units at EDS, including the Communications Industry Group, Communications Service Line, and Financial Process Management. Before joining EDS, he served at the Plano-based DSC Communications as senior vice president of sales and services for the global telephony equipment manufacturer.

In the mid-90's, Ansley was an officer at AT&T, serving as vice president of client services and marketing, where he helped create and found AT&T Solutions, an organization focused on the fast growing systems integration and network outsourcing marketplace. During his long tenure at IBM, he held successive senior-level roles in general management, sales, marketing, and business development in both IBM and IBM Global Services.

Currently, Ansley serves on the International Board of Visitors at Texas Christian University's M.J. Neeley School of Business. Ansley has previously held Board of Director roles at UpstreamInfo, United Way of Dallas, Green Hill School of Dallas, and USC's Center for Communications Management. Also, he has served on the Infomart Board of Governors and the Advisory Board for the privately held QVentures of Ft. Worth.

Ansley earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management and an MBA in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. Charles, along with his wife and family, currently live in Plano, Texas.

Board Member Spotlight: Greg Beck

As Vice President of Implementation Engineering and Common Systems, Greg Beck leads a team of engineering professionals responsible for implementing AT&T’s network equipment projects throughout the AT&T’s Mobile and Global Network.  Areas of focus include project management, engineering, vendor management, quality assurance, along with financial stewardship.  He is a twenty-four year veteran of the communications industry.

The Implementation Engineering organization provides power and space planning for wire line, wireless, and global network projects, drives to common implementation processes, provides integrated project management focus, and optimizes capital expenditures.

Greg joined Southwestern Bell in 1986 as a Switching Engineer in Dallas, Texas.  He has held various postions within the Company which include: Network Operations, General Headquarters Staff, Network Operations Staff, and DataComm Sales.  For the past 9 years, Greg has successfully expanded his engineering functions across the mobility and global networks current position, he held the position of Regional Vice President-Broadband Operations in San Antonio, Texas.

Greg serves on the Metroplex Technology Business Council board of directors and is a past member of the Industrial Advisory Committee of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Technology Program for Texas A&M.

Greg graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1985.
