MTBC Board Sets Agenda for 2007

Starting off the new year, the MTBC announced its 2007 Board of Directors appointments on January 17 and held its annual planning retreat January 19. The MTBC Nominating Committee met in December to make recommendations for Board appointments, with the goal to maintain a cross section of the various technology sectors and a fair representation of both small and large companies.

At the retreat, which was hosted by Chair Rusty Cone at Alliance Systems, the Board discussed goals and objectives as well as a reorganization of its structure to expand its current four task forces into six divisions with tri-chairs.

The divisions are:

  • Finance/Fundraising
  • Programs/Networking
  • Membership
  • Innovation
  • Branding/Advocacy
  • Talent

More information will be provided as the new structure is formalized.
