MTBC Golf Tournament Hit a Hole-In-One

As the partly cloudy day began, emotions were in a tizzy due to the threatening weather, but as the day progressed and the clouds began to clear, all was well. On Monday, May 7, 2007, the MTBC Tech Links Scholarship Golf Tournament went off without a hitch. Over 100 people showed up to play a round of golf at Eldorado Country Club, and even though no one managed to get a hole-in-one, the players all seemed happy.

When the players arrived at the course, they were treated to a boxed lunch and were able to practice their swings at the driving range. At one o’clock, the players went off to find their respective holes and begin their play. Beverage carts with donated liquids from Coca-Cola circled the course all day keeping the players hydrated. As the day grew increasingly hotter, tensions became high as the race for the top spot neared to an end.
