Nanotechnology Conference Scheduled in Dallas

The 2nd International Nanotechnology Conference, nanoTX ’07, is scheduled for October 3-4 at the Dallas Convention Center.   The conference will focus on 4 main industry areas:

            Semiconductors/MEMS/NEMS
            Aerospace/Defense/Homeland Security
            BioMed/Health Sciences
            Energy/Chemical/Environment

Featured exhibits include the NASA Moon Base Project, Mars and Beyond, the Lockheed Martin Orion Space Vehicle, and local industry sensation, Hanson Robotics, demonstrating their novel use of MEMS with human looks and mannerisms.

In addition to the full conference program with speakers from throughout the world and the 2-day exhibit hall, there will be new product demos, walk-through exhibits recreating the nanotechnology experience, and a special documentary on the late industry giants, Jack Kilby and Richard Smalley will be shown daily in the Business Hall.

A complete program with lists of presenters and exhibitors is posted on the web site, www.nanotx.biz.

MTBC members can received Special Complimentary Exhibit Passes by contacting Sue Walker.  The MTBC booth will be #543 near the Semiconductor/MEMS area and we invite both MTBC members and guests to come by during exhibit hours.
