MTBC Thanks Rusty Cone, Chairman of the Board Completing his three year term as MTBC's Chairman of the Board, Rusty Cone, we look back at what the MTBC has accomplished since 2006. In 2006, Cone set long terms goals including talent development, higher education research and commercialization activities that support the technology industry, building greater national and global recognition of the region as an enviable place for technology companies and talent. The 2006 Board of Directors saught to guide the organization to its "Higher Calling" with task forces that included talent development, innovation, and advocacy and branding. In 2006, we found MTBC member, Richland College accepting the 2005 Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award; MTBC hosted the RFID panel at IT seminar at ITEC; state awarded $6 million in Emerging Tech Funds; and MTBC kicked off it's Total Resource Campaign. Our 2006 luncheons included topics such as "Doing Business in China", "Adopting RFID", "Kodak's Digital Transformation", and "The Past, Present, and Future of Travel"
