Mitel Opens Dallas Solutions Center to Serve Metroplex Businesses

Mitel, a leading provider of next generation business communications systems, today opened its new, state-of-the-art Solutions Center to directly serve businesses within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, home to one of the highest concentrations of corporations, small, and midsize businesses in the nation.  MTBC member, Inter-Tel Technologies is one of Mitel's solution centers, based in Carrollton. The Mitel Solutions Center is located at 2312 East Trinity Mills Road (off Hwy 161), in Carrollton, Texas.   The grand opening event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local business and community leaders, and demonstrations of several advanced communications technologies, including Voice over IP, unified communications, remote web conferencing and collaboration, and wireless communications technology.

“Companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth region are contending with the same uncertain economic conditions affecting businesses all across the country,” said Rick Dell, president of sales for Mitel US. “Higher transportation and operating costs, global competition, and compressed margins are just a few of the issues facing them today.  Many companies are re-evaluating how communications can help them meet these fundamental business challenges. Mitel believes its longstanding history in helping businesses meet these challenges will resonate with businesses in North Texas.”

Mitel’s Solutions Center showcases a variety of products and applications that will allow companies to increase revenue, streamline operations, control costs, and reduce emissions. The company’s advanced solutions, such as Voice over IP technology, unified communications, collaboration, and mobility tools, are scaled to serve businesses ranging from SMBs to major enterprise. In addition, Mitel’s managed services program enables customers to leverage a comprehensive communications system—including hardware, software, data and voice services, ongoing support and training—for a fixed monthly fee.

“Today’s communications technology can be an invaluable asset for companies operating in a difficult economic environment,” noted Dell. “Mitel sees its Dallas-Fort Worth Solutions Center as a resource for Metroplex businesses looking for powerful, yet tangible, technology to increase productivity, control costs, and certainly, improve profitability, in a challenging economy.”
