This issue home | Past issues | MTBC home This year the MTBC will host our 9th annual Tech Titans Awards Gala on Friday, August 28, 2009. This is the premier awards show for the north Texas Telecom Corridor and has been called the “Oscars” of the high tech industry. Tech Titans recognizes the best and the brightest that the north Texas high-tech industry has to offer. We offer both individual and corporate awards in several different categories related to high-tech advocacy, innovation and education. On that night, the MTBC will also award scholarships to high school and university programs that advance and encourage the subjects of science, technology, engineering and math among the youth of north Texas. The MTBC needs volunteers to put this fantastic event on. The MTBC needs you! We have opportunities in marketing, advertising, sponsorships, ticket/table sales, live/silent auction and volunteer coordination. If you’d like to be behind the scenes of one of the most exciting events in north Texas, this is the place for you! Benefits of volunteering for the Tech Titans committee include a chance to present feedback and suggestions for the largest and most noteworthy event the MTBC hosts throughout the year. You will also have the opportunity to work very closely with other like-minded business and community leaders in the high-tech industry. Our first committee meeting will be Friday, March 13 at 3:30 p.m. at the MTBC offices (411 Belle Grove Drive, Richardson, TX 75090).
