This issue home | Past issues | MTBC home Nominations opened May 1 for the 9th Annual Tech Titans/Fast Tech Awards Gala, presented by the Metroplex Technology Business Council! The Tech Titans/Fast Tech Awards, dubbed "the Oscars" of the north Texas high-tech industry, is nationally recognized throughout the industry for outstanding achievement. Nominate north Texas based technology companies or individuals as Tech Titans for excellence in their field. Companies, individuals and their supporters are eligible to nominate their company, their CEO, their suppliers and/or their clients in several different award categories. What better way to honor someone special than to nominate them for this prestigious award? Titans of the Future recognizes innovative university level programs designed to address the gap in the student pipeline in technology disciplines and/or educational programs between technology businesses and educational institutions whose purpose is to provide qualified graduates to the technology industry. Nominations for the Tech Titans awards are being accepted through June 30th. Formerly the Fast 50 awards, the Fast Tech awards, annually recognize the fastest growing technology companies in the DFW Metroplex, based on percentage of revenue growth over five years and one year. Participants can be public or private and encompass all technology industry segments, including communications, computer and peripherals, internet, life sciences, semiconductors, software and media. To qualify for the ranking, companies must own proprietary technology. Winners in the five year growth category are also eligible for the Deloitte Technology Fast 500. Titan Fast Tech nominations are being accepted through June 5, 2009.
