MTBC and IEEE Announce New Partnership

The MTBC and the Institute of Electrical  and Electronic Engineers – Dallas Section (IEEE) have announced the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding that provides new opportunities for the trade organizations to work together to promote the North Texas technology industry.

Under the guidelines established in the MOU, the MTBC and IEEE will collaborate on key areas of common interest to both organizations, work together and exchange key marketing capabilities, assets and benefits, cross market and promote each organization’s events and activities to the respective organizations’ members.

MTBC Establishes Charitable Fund for Scholarship Donations

The Metroplex Technology Business Council has established a 501c3 donor advised fund at Communities Foundation of Texas to allow MTBC companies to make tax-deductible donations to the MTBC in support of the Tech Titans Scholarship Fund, the MTBC LEGO Education Mindstorm Project and future MTBC charitable initiatives.

What is Communities Foundation of Texas?
Communities Foundation of Texas has been a partner with donors for raising the quality of life in our community for more than 50 years. CFT provides effective ways to make meaningful charitable contributions while realizing significant tax advantages. When a donor makes a gift to CFT, a charitable deduction can be claimed.

MTBC Tech Titan/Fast Tech Awards Gala Sold Out at Phenomenal Pace

The Metroplex Technology Business Council (MTBC) is proud to host a completely sold out 2009 Tech Titans Awards Gala on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas – Richardson!  This black-tie optional awards gala is, quite simply, the high-tech event of the year in north Texas! 

The theme this year is “If you want a BETTER TOMORROW, someone must be BRILLIANT TODAY.”  There is a lot of brilliance in north Texas as the MTBC has announced the 2009 Tech Titans award finalists from more than 120 nominations.
